Advanced Infrastructure Design Inc. is seeking a Materials Inspector to support transportation and infrastructure construction projects throughout New Jersey and the surrounding region.
This position is suited for candidates with hands-on construction or inspection experience who want to build long-term technical expertise in construction materials inspection.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform field inspection and testing of asphalt, concrete, soils, and aggregates.
- Conduct roadway and plant inspections in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist with sampling, density testing, and coring coordination as needed.
- Accurately document test results, field observations, and daily reports.
- Communicate findings clearly with project engineers, project managers, and laboratory staff.
- Follow ASTM, AASHTO, and project-specific procedures.
- Maintain safety and quality standards on active construction sites.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, inspection, or materials testing preferred
- Familiarity with asphalt and concrete operations is a plus
- Industry certifications such as ACI, NJSAT, NICET, or NJDOT are a plus, not required
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical role
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience
